DIY Project- Building Your Own Liquid Soap Mixing Machine
Are you tired of buying expensive liquid soap? Or do you want to create your own custom liquid soap blends? If so, then this DIY project is for you! In this article, we will guide you through the process of building your own liquid soap mixing machine.
Materials
Before getting started, you will need to gather the following materials:
5-gallon bucket
1-gallon milk jug
2-inch PVC pipe (about 2 feet long)
1-inch PVC pipe (about 1 foot long)
Elbow joint
T-joint
Pipe clamps
Drill
Jigsaw
Scissors
Duct tape
Mixing paddle
Soap base
Water
Essential oils (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Once you have gathered all of your materials, you can follow these step-by-step instructions to build your own liquid soap mixing machine:
1. Cut the PVC pipes. Using a jigsaw, cut the 2-inch PVC pipe in half and the 1-inch PVC pipe into three equal pieces.
2. Assemble the frame. Attach the elbow joint to one end of the 2-inch PVC pipe and the T-joint to the other end. Then, connect the 1-inch PVC pipes to the T-joint, as shown in the diagram below. Use pipe clamps to secure all of the connections.

4. Attach the mixing paddle. Drill a hole in the center of the mixing paddle and insert the 1-inch PVC pipe into the hole. Secure the mixing paddle to the PVC pipe with duct tape.
5. Prepare the soap base. Measure out the desired amount of soap base and add it to the 5-gallon bucket. Then, add water to the bucket until the soap base is dissolved.
6. Mix the soap. Insert the mixing paddle into the soap base solution and start mixing. You can use a drill to power the mixing paddle or you can mix it by hand.
7. Add essential oils (optional). If desired, you can add essential oils to the soap base solution. This will give your liquid soap a custom scent.
8. Transfer the soap to the milk jug. Once the soap is mixed, transfer it to the 1-gallon milk jug.
Tips
You can use any type of soap base to make liquid soap. However, some soap bases are more difficult to dissolve than others.
If you want to make a large batch of liquid soap, you can use a larger bucket and a more powerful mixing paddle.
You can experiment with different scents and colors to create your own unique liquid soap blends.
Enjoy making your own liquid soap!
